The City of Bellingham is proud to be a supporting partner in Black Dog Production’s “The Greenest House." As a purveyor of a limited and fragile resource – water from Lake Whatcom – the City of Bellingham is uniquely aware of the importance and value of high quality drinking water. One of our missions is to take care of this resource and protect it for future generations. The best and least expensive way to accomplish this task is by using less, and making the most of what we do use. The Greenest House educates our water customers about ways they can reduce consumption through altering daily habits, purchasing water-efficient fixtures and appliances and understanding our water supply and system.
