Meet the Edisons: Carrie, 35, Paloma, 4, Alden, 2, and Todd, 37. The Edisons decided to participate in "The Greenest House" because they were excited about the opportunity to learn inexpensive ways to make their house more efficient, save energy, and ultimately save money. With two young children at home, going green posed a special challenge.

Carrie works for the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 17 as a Union Representative. She is a graduate of Fairhaven College's Law and Diversity Program and Hamline University School of Law where she focused on Labor Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. She enjoys travel, books, movies, walks with friends and family, working on the house, and creating community.

Todd is Assistant Coach of the Bellingham Bay Swim Team and a stay-at-home dad. He loves Ken Follet books, painting, movies, travel, golf, fishing and spending time with his wife.

Paloma enjoys, hiking, playing dress-up, swimming, art, and having fun with her friends. She loves a good party.

Alden loves to go on walks. He is known to be a "guy's guy" and likes trains, hammers, t-ball, golf and swimming.
