Meet the Falcone family: Mark, 41, Jaelyn, 43, Nicolas, 14, and Alena, 9, plus Grandpa Garry, 73. They have lived in Bellingham for six years and decided to participate in "The Greenest House" because they needed help taking all the information about going green and actually applying it to their own lives. The Falcones figure that they're the average family -- they recycle, try to buy local, and lower their thermostats -- but they know there is much more they could be doing. They just aren't sure where to start or how to go about it.

The Falcones are an active family and like hiking, walking, running, kayaking, spending time outdoors, and being together. They also enjoy sunsets over Bellingham Bay. At home, they spend time playing games or hanging out with friends, and are also big readers. Jaelyn doesn't like it when the kids spend too much time playing video games; Nicolas doesn't like crowds; and Alena doesn't like being filmed or talking about herself.
